In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2025, we proudly join the global community in celebrating women’s achievements and reaffirming our commitment to equality and inclusion. The 2025 theme, “Accelerate Action,” serves as both an inspiration and a call to action in creating a world where women can thrive and lead in every sphere.
At Verde, we’re committed to listening, learning, and doing our part to break barriers and accelerate progress. As a minority-owned and run organization with both Hispanic and female ownership, we believe diversity is essential to building a healthier, more sustainable future for all. We’re proud to have strong women leading and shaping our organization at every level, from executive roles to operations, sustainability to purchasing, employee programs to management. Their passion and dedication exemplify the power of diverse perspectives to drive innovation and growth.
We recognize that progress is not just about acknowledging achievements but taking meaningful steps toward structural and cultural change. “Accelerate Action” challenges each of us to move beyond conversations and into tangible, actionable initiatives, from ensuring equitable opportunities in leadership to fostering supportive environments for working mothers, women of color, and all women navigating their unique journeys. It also means supporting the women in our lives, including young girls, mothers, aunties, grandmothers, coworkers, and friends.
